Gill Tyson is a painter and printmaker, graduated from Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University. Gill has exhibited at home and abroad and has exhibited regularly at the Open Eye Gallery and Edinburgh Printmakers. For many years Gill ran art classes for pre-school children and now runs a primary school After School Art Club. Gill has given workshops at Edinburgh Printmakers and the Edinburgh Book Festival and is passionate about sharing her love of printmaking with others. She lives and works in Edinburgh with her husband, two children and two cats.
