Mat Kemp graduated from Newcastle Upon Tyne University with a degree in Fine Art & also studied bronze casting at The Royal College of Art & Sculpture at The Instituto Statale D’Art, Florence. Mat’s work is predoninantly sculptural, combining a mixture of recycled, found & donated materials with more traditional elements such as bronze & plaster. Mat produces a vast range of work in which humour & fun play a significant role.
Mat’s Art workshops combine technical skill with his sense of fun in arriving at an original piece of work.
Mat lives in London with his wife & two children.
