Some Tot Art classes focus on the work of an Artist, which children look at, talk about, & are encouraged to make their own personal response.

Pictured above from left to right:

  1. 1.Whilst exploring the idea of camouflage, we looked at Rosseau’s painting ‘A tiger in the storm’, which is at The National Gallery. The children had fun hiding their tigers in the leaves.

  1. 2.The children loved the feel of squeezing paint through their fingers & smearing it on paper when responding to Van Gogh’s work.

  1. 3.The children loved modelling food in clay, came up with some very funny food combinations for a meal, & enjoyed making imaginative clay plates after looking at Picasso’s plate designs.

  1. 4.Children enjoying experimenting with paint & rollers & created their own sea designs based on Matisse’s ‘Polynesian Sea’

It is the creative process your child learns that enables your child to arrive at impressive outcomes, & the structured accumulation of skills which enables your child to improve. It is this process along with award winning teaching methods that makes Tot Art special, & how Tot Art sessions & workshops truly equip your child with skills for life.
