Children use a large variety of media and materials in a variety of different ways, which all helps develop & improve hand eye co-ordination.
Some of the many hand eye co -ordination skills, which are learnt as part of the bigger artistic whole, pictured above from left to right:
-
1.Selecting, cutting, arranging & applying runny glue using a glue stick whilst creating a collage in the style of Kurt Schwitters.
-
2.Measuring, mixing, pouring & imprinting whilst taking a plaster imprint of their hands.
-
3.Holding and manipulating different width pens, pencils and charcoal; applying paint using a variety of techniques & using different painting surfaces when creating an image on canvas.
-
4.Moulding & modelling clay in making a clay alien.
It is the creative process your child learns that enables your child to arrive at impressive outcomes, & the structured accumulation of skills which enables your child to improve. It is this process along with award winning teaching methods that makes Tot Art special, & how Tot Art sessions & workshops truly equip your child with skills for life.
